Pine Nut Cake

Pine Nut Cake is made with almonds and pine nuts, reminiscent of pignolia, the italian pine nut cookie. Pine nuts are known for their rich flavor and buttery texture. It's also a royal nut due to the labor-intensive harvesting process. Combined with almond paste and encased in buttery pastry, this cake offers a twist on a beloved classic. 

For tea pairing, we suggest our family of light and floral teas. Try the #2028 or the Mount Qilai and let the buttery oolong enhance the pastry. We hope you enjoy!

Ingredients

Flour, butter, sugar, mung bean, almond paste, pine nuts, milk powder, eggs, maltose.

Produced in a facility that processes wheat, milk, egg, soy, tree nuts, & peanuts.

Storage

Pine Nut cakes will remain fresh at room temperature for 15 days from the packing date, or they can be stored up to 4 weeks refrigerated or 2 months in the freezer. We are not responsible for delays in shipping once the package has been transferred to the carrier.

Purchase in-person

Pinenut cakes can also be purchased in-person at our Tea Room during regular business hours. For larger quantities pickup, please placed an order ahead of time by selecting pickup at checkout.
