Golden Kumquats

Tis the season for jarred kumquats. Grown in California, these little pockets of sunshine are some of the most delightful tea treat we look forward to every year. We get our kumquats from California, then we wash, sort, candy and jar. This year, we tweaked our recipe slightly in pursuit of a more intense kumquat flavor and a bouncier texture. The French calls these Glacé Fruit, we call it golden nibbles for a more auspicious ring.
Enjoy these golden treats as they are at or put them on ice cream or yogurt for a sunny afternoon treat. You can even make a sparkling drink by combining muddled kumquat and syrup with sparkling water or prosecco. There are simply no wrong ways to eat them!

Kumquats, sugar, water and spices.
Produced in a facility that processes wheat, milk, egg, soy, tree nuts and peanuts.
Storage
Refrigerate upon opening, kumquats will remain delicious for 3 months.
